Frequently asked questions

How to use Theme Park Sport (Parksport) on the web.

Do I need to refresh the page to see new wait times?

No. While you have the park list or an attraction open, standby wait times and status can update on their own in the background. You do not need to pull to refresh or reload the page to pick up new numbers when our systems receive an update from the park data feed.

If something looks stuck, check your connection, then try navigating away and back, or refresh once as a fallback.

How do I explore rides for a park?

Open a trip, choose a destination, then tap a park. You will see lists with tabs for rides, shows, restaurants, and favorites (when signed in). Use search and sort to narrow the list. Use the Status row to focus on everything that is open by default, all statuses, or a single status such as Refurbishment or Retired.

How do “Details & alerts” and logging visits work?

From a trip’s park view, open an attraction for details. If you are on a trip, you can log a visit for yourself (and optionally trip members or friends with you). Some features, such as SMS or device wait alerts, may require account settings like a verified phone number or notification permission.

Why doesn’t every attraction show a wait time?

Shows, dining locations, and rides that are closed, down, retired, or otherwise not posting a standby time may show a status icon or label instead of a number. That reflects what the external park data provides, not a bug in the app.

Where can I change my account or notifications?

Use your profile or registration settings (linked from the account area after you sign in) to update email, phone, and alert preferences.
